This entertaining collection presents a brief, 2-5 page article on 20 key scientists across a range of cultures. A variety of disciplines is included, from Chemistry to Earth Science to Psychology. Each story provides the historical context surrounding the scientist’s work, an overview of discoveries, and interesting tidbits about the scientist. Colourful caricatures add visual appeal. Useful for grades 7-12, individual sections can be used to complement classroom study, and the resource could help incorporate history and nature of science into the classroom.
