Loser

Spinelli, Jerry
Donald is a quirky, but seemingly oblivious child who endures the cruelty of his fellow students throughout his elementary school years. His mistreatment by students is balanced by the love and support of his family, and acceptance by other adults in his world. Readers will certainly empathize with Donald, either through their own experiences, or those of others. However, at times Donald's lack of reaction to the way he is treated borders on unbelievable.
