Luna

This is a very open and sensitive story about a transgendered youth, Liam. At night, assisted by his sister, who helps with makeup and clothes, Liam transforms into Luna. The story documents the pain of his situation and the abuse he suffers from homophobes, as well as his journey to his ‘coming out’ to his parents. The book follows his subsequent departure from home so he can truly become what he believes he is inside – a girl. The story is narrated by his sister, who has her own teen issues.
