Megiddo's Shadow
After the 16-year-old Edward Bathe learns of his older brother's death fighting in World War 1, he lies about his age and enlists in the Canadian army. His new job in England is to break wild horses, and there, he falls in love with nurse Emily. Emily transfers to the front and we witness their relationship progress through a series of letters. Edward is sent to Palestine to battle with the Turks.
