This child-friendly, online resource is developed by the Metropolitan Museum of Art to help students learn about ancient times around the world by exploring its galleries and art and artifact collections. Engaging and visually appealing, this easy-to-navigate resource demonstrates how art was represented in ancient times and how visual arts have changed over time. It presents information in a number of ways, including text articles, videos, visuals, and ideas for hands-on projects, to address different learning styles and extend learning. Students can explore the content independently and use it for mini research projects.
