Million Dollar Shot, The

With the help of his friend Annie, eleven year old Eddie Ball enters and wins a poetry contest that gets him the opportunity to win a million dollars by sinking a foul shot during half-time at the NBA finals. The contest is sponsored by the same Finkle Foods Company that his mother has just lost her job from. With coaching from Annie’s father, Eddie gains the confidence and skills to help him win the money; however, complications arise when someone mysteriously sabotages Eddie’s chances.
