Miracle at Willowcreek
The novel demonstrates the power that a small group of people (even grade 7 students) can exert toward making a positive difference in protecting animals and the environment. Set in BC, the story concerns Pitt Polder, an environmentally sensitive area in Maple Ridge. The book deals with issues such as belonging and bullying, growing up, relocating, and grief (death of a grandfather).
