Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, The

Edward is a beautiful china rabbit. He lives a charmed existence as the favourite doll of a wealthy young girl. His only flaw is self-absorption. One day Edward falls into the sea, and he finds himself on a journey that is out of his control. At different stages of the adventure, he experiences a range of emotions – the happiness of being loved and the sorrow of intense loss. Edward gradually realizes that he is capable of compassion, love, hope and patience.
