When her brother goes to hospital to get his tonsils out, Méli Mélo is left, unhappily, for two days with her father. Dad watches sports and make silly jokes. He doesn't get anything right. Méli imagines a monster that would come to life and fix things the way she would like them – cartoons would be on every channel, her room would get switched for her parents’ larger one, and her dad would her go away. When she gets her wishes, she realizes that she has made a huge mistake.
