Natasha follows the story of a family who fled Russia in search of a better life in Canada. From the point of view of the son Mark, the novel chronicles stories of this family from their efforts to fit into a new life to Mark's relationship with the alluring and sexually experienced Natasha. Sex, drugs and profanity are present in the novel. Although these incidents are catalysts for change and growth in the narrator, teachers are advised to preview these incidents before using the novel.
