No Room for Baby
Leon is a new big brother for the first time and so long as the baby penguin stays in his crib, Leon is happy. But Leon worries what will happen when the baby is in his special places, such as Mama’s lap or Daddy’s shoulders, but after great thought, Leon finally finds a place perfect for a baby penguin. Many primary students will relate to the story and it can prompt discussions on kindness, caring, inclusion, adaptability, and becoming a new big brother or sister. Useful as a read-aloud, for independent reading, or guided reading lessons.
