Nobody's Child

Skrypuch, Marsha Forchuk
In the late 1800s, the Turkish population began to persecute the large group of Armenians who lived and worked in eastern Turkey. More than a million Armenians of all ages were slaughtered. ‘Nobody's Child’ deals with this genocide. It tells the story of three siblings, Mariam, Marta and Onnig, their friend Kevork, and his aunt, Anna. After the children are left orphans by the Adana massacre of 1909, they travel together to Marash in attempt to find any remaining family members.
