Notes from a Liar and her Dog

Ant does not get along with her mother and lies to her family and her teachers. She is fiercely protective of her dog, and will go to any length to keep him safe (sneaking him to the vet and leaving without paying the bills, entering a lion cage to grab him before a lion does, etc.). Ant's teacher takes an interest in her and tries to help her become honest.
