One Family

This colourful picture book provides examples of many kinds of families. It begins with a family of one, then a family of two, and so until it ends with a family of ten. The family members are of a variety ethnic backgrounds, gender, sexual orientation, and age. It celebrates a wide view of the modern family and can spark discussion of families, numbers, patterns, groups of things, and what families look like around the world. Suitable for PreK-3.
