In Canada, our dumps fill much more quickly than our capacity to create new ones and our methods to manage them enormously pollute our water and our atmosphere. To understand the problem, 3 students visit a dump and a centre of recycling and meet experts who help them adopt the three `key Rs': To reduce, Recycle and Re-use.
Content is relevant and accurate and deals with real concerns for the environment and the urgent need to recycle.
Appropriate for Gr. 5-8 French.
