In this, the third in a series, Anna deals with the loss of her grandfather, the person who has raised her since infancy. As she progresses through some of the stages of grief, she discovers support where she did not expect it. The novel is very well-written and allows the reader to identify with the young adolescent and her struggles. Language and vocabulary are easily accessible for young readers.
