Peter & Ernesto: A Tale of Two Sloths

Best friends Peter and Ernesto, sloths that live in a tree, do everything together, but when Ernesto decides to leave the tree and explore the world, timid Peter is too afraid of what they might encounter and stays home. While Ernesto is off having grand adventures and meeting friendly, helpful animals, Peter worries about Ernesto and musters the courage to leave the tree to find Ernesto. On his journey Peter learns that not all animals are scary, and that there are indeed meaningful experiences in the outside world. This graphic novel, with its simple story and bright, expressive illustrations, focuses on exploring, stepping outside of one’s comfort zone, risk-taking, friendship, and loyalty.
