Three friends goad each other into spending the night in The Great Pyramid of Zoser. In a pivotal event, the three join hands in the king's chamber and soon realize that they have been transported back to Ancient Egypt, before the completion of the pyramid. As they experience Ancient Egyptian life they use their knowledge from the future to get a better understanding of how and why things were done.
