Princess Academy

Mira lives on the outskirts of a kingdom in a village whose lives revolve around the linder rock they mine. A prophesy is announced that the prince must choose a princess from Mira’s small village. Accordingly, the twenty potential princesses are forced to attend a makeshift academy. The tutor is ruthless and cruel in her determination to turn these “mountain” girls into literate and refined young ladies by the time the prince arrives in a year's time.
