PULSE (Personal Use Learning Styles Evaluation)

Cunningham, DJ. Miller, Mark.
PULSE (Personal Use Learning Styles Evaluation) is composed of 16 web-based games that help to identify a student’s preferred learning style. Students work independently through a number of web-based games that involve problem-solving, mathematical questions, communication, critical thinking, and more. At the completion of game play a student's profile is created and linked to on-line resources that draw upon the strengths of the individual’s learning style. Aimed at students in grades 4-8, the resource is easy to use, and games are clearly explained in short, illustrated, and engaging videos. A useful resource for Health and Career Education, English Language Arts and Mathematics.
