Rash

Hautman, Pete
This funny, engaging and thought-provoking satire raises questions about privacy, security and personal freedom. The book offers interesting character development; this is especially true in the case of an Artificial Intelligence. The work links particularly well to two short stories in ‘Inside Stories II’ (“All the Troubles of the World” by Isaac Asimov and “Harrison Bergeron” by Kurt Vonnegut). This book would provide a good introduction to satire for students in grade 10.
