Red Sky In the Morning

This novel offers a touching exploration of 12-year-old Anna’s love for Ben, her severely disabled baby brother. The reader feels the deep bond that develops between the siblings and sees the challenges the family faces as a result of the special care the boy requires. Over the course of the novel, Anna develops new understandings about love, loss and friendship. This becomes especially clear, as Ben dies when Anna is 14.
