Rick Hansen Foundation: Resource Library, Grades 9-12

This Canadian website, aimed at educators, is designed to encourage and assist students to become “Difference Makers.” By focusing on themes of inclusion, accessibility, personal development, and leadership training, it seeks to foster conversation on these topics and to encourage real world problem-solving in students’ schools and home communities. The website provides teachers with complete lesson and unit plans to use in their classrooms that include assessment criteria, rubrics, curricular connections, required resources, and student activities. Links are provided to useful video resources to enrich lessons.
