Saffron Threads: South Asian Canadian Culture, Grades 7-12

This recent and relevant teachers’ resource, a collaborative website project supported by the BC government, introduces students to, and extends their understanding of, the contributions made by South Asian people and culture in BC. The resource provides a variety of activities, background information, lesson plans, and assessment methods. This thoughtful resource has clear step-by-step instructions, extension activities, and additional resources in print/online/video formats. Information and activities are clear, focused, and accessible, and teachers can choose to download or print activities, blackline masters, and background information.
