School Mouse, The

This cute story is a lot of fun and contains a number of engaging characters. Its especially spunky main character, Flora, is an exceptional mouse. Her family lives in a schoolhouse, but she is the only one who decides to learn how to read. She does this by observing in the kindergarten classroom.
