Filmed over a 5 month period, SEEKING REFUGE is the journey of five applicants seeking asylum in Canada as refugees. This moving 52 min. chronicle of the fate of people who have fled war, persecution and political turmoil allow us an intimate look at our complex immigration system. Two applicants were also victims of rape. Recommended for Social Studies 11 and Social Justice 12.
