Set in small town BC, this novel tells the story of Rana, an Indo-Canadian boy who dreams of making the hockey team and gaining acceptance in the community at large. Despite facing obstacles of discrimination, prejudice, and lack of money, Rana achieves his dream through determination and hard work.
