Fourteen-year-old Maisie, a cancer survivor and an above-the-knee amputee, is thrilled to attend her first fan convention with her mom, and dreams of meeting her idol, an action star who has a similar disability. On her adventure she faces and overcomes challenges related to her disability and meets and begins a budding relationship with artist and fan Ollie.
