Starseeker

Fourteen-year-old Luke is trying to work through the grief he feels over the death of his father two years ago. He becomes a tormented young man who joins a gang in order to express some of the anger he feels. While attempting the break-in demanded by the gang, he discovers a very distressed ten-year-old girl who is blind and developmentally delayed. He feels such compassion for her that he cannot continue to participate in gang activities. This decision leads to many other problems.
