When a particularly virulent flu spreads rapidly, 99% of Earth’s people die. A group of actors who were performing King Lear in Toronto when the pandemic struck are some of the few who survive, and they struggle to deal with their new reality. The survivors form relationships, learn how to survive, build community, and take steps that they don’t realize will lead them closer to the collapse of their world.
