Stories of Life Through Darkness: The Robb Nash Project

This timely and engaging Canadian online resource focuses on students who have addressed and overcome personal mental health issues. Four modules cover a variety of topics, including self-esteem, being different, anxiety, eating disorders, suicide, cutting, feeling invisible, and life in an alternative school when feeling misunderstood and coping with being different. This well-designed, user-friendly site includes effective, positive videos/webinars, with storytelling and music to connect with students, and provides links to external websites, extension activities, and follow-up journal questions for further reflection. A class can work through the modules individually or as a group. NOTE: Content may be triggering for some students. Parental permission to view might be required.
