Tennis Poster

This colourful 24" x 36" laminated chart illustrates a tennis court, and provides an explanation of scoring, an overview of the game, and other key facts about tennis. The information on how to score in tennis is well explained and examples are provided for students. The graphics and tables used on the chart are visually appealing, but the poster does have extensive text presented in a small font size. The font size would limit the usefulness of the poster in a large group setting or in the gymnasium. The poster could be used as a supplemental resource to support instruction of basic rules, scoring, and court markings. Progressions for skill development, modified games, companion materials, and suggestions for assessment are not provided.
