Torn from Troy: Odyssey of a Slave
"Torn from Troy" is the first book in the "Odyssey of a Slave" trilogy, a retelling of the classic Greek legend of the Odyssey. It is an engaging look at the Trojan War, told from the perspective of Alexi, a 15-year-old orphan from the streets of Troy. It compliments the Grade 7 Social Studies unit on Ancient Civilizations and mythology.
