Trap, The

Albert Least-Weasel, a Native Alaskan elder living in the Far North, has gone out to check his wolf trap line. Worried when his grandfather doesn’t return home after several days, and urged by his grandmother, Johnny sets out on snowmobile to find him. The readers know that Albert has caught his leg in a trap, and is unable to free himself. Albert’s survival skills are extensive, but the cold begins to take its toll.
