Truth and Reconciliation in Canadian Schools

Toulouse, P.R.
This Canadian teacher’s resource provides accessible background information on and history of Canada’s Indigenous peoples, treaties, residential schools, sacred circle teachings, and the contributions of our First Peoples. The second part of the resource provides lesson plans by grade, from K-12, that are practical and can be easily used in any classroom. They include charts, tables, photographs, and drawings, as well as black line masters and graphic organizers. There is also an extensive reference section at the back of the book that includes useful Internet resources.
