TSOUND KIDS

Members of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra introduce students in grades K-7 to symphonic music and instruments and basic musical knowledge in a straightforward, simple manner. Through the use of YouTube videos, games, and follow-up activities students can explore various woodwind, brass, string, and percussion instruments, playing techniques such as posture and tone, and be encouraged to construct their own instruments from recycled materials. Teacher resources include podcasts, study guides, lesson plans, listening journals, and learning outcomes to support their classroom music programs.
