Suitable for Physical Education 8 through 12, this colourful, visually appealing 24" x 36" laminated chart depicts the volleyball court and player positions, along with a brief description of the duties of each position, a game overview, and other key facts about the game. The scoring rules in volleyball are explained and information on basic positioning and rotation is provided. The poster does have extensive text in a small font size which would make it difficult to use in a gymnasium. The poster could be used as a supplemental resource to support instruction of basic rules, scoring, court markings, and basic positioning for volleyball. Progressions for skill development, modified games, suggestions for assessment, and companion materials are not provided.
