We Three
When high school student Jassie attends a summer arts camp she connects with two teens who share her feelings of being unique and not fitting in with others. The three develop a friendship and as it grows they discover their own sexuality and realize they all have feelings for each other and come up with a non-traditional solution that works for them. This easy-to-read high/low novel deals with current issues of self-realization, friendship, SOGI, feeling different, and discovering romance, in a simple, direct manner. Useful in grades 8-12 to launch and support discussions of the themes as well as for a literature circle or independent reading.
