Weight of Zero, The
When seventeen-year-old Cath is diagnosed with bipolar disorder she names her depression Zero and fights her fear of Zero appearing, while trying to lead a “normal” life and struggling to be honest about her diagnosis with both herself and those she loves. But Cath knows that one day she will end Zero on her own terms but as she experiences more happiness her decision becomes complicated. This engaging novel shows insight into teenage mental illness such as the fear, uneasiness, and social loneliness.
