Live it Earth is free to K-7 French Immersion teachers, and K-7 English stream teachers between July 2022- June 2025.

The Live It Earth bilingual suite focuses on place-based, hybrid learning experiences. It offers hours of cross-curricular programming, informed by Indigenous perspectives and supplemented by extensive instructional supports. It includes how-to videos, inquiry guides, slide shows and pro-d materials, and allows for the customization of presentation materials. The website search engine allows teachers to filter resources in relation to BC Curriculum. Eight new programs are added annually in French and English.

Teacher Access: Live it Earth is available only to K-7 French Immersion teachers, and K-7 English stream teachers who are current members of Focused ED (all B.C. school districts and participating Independent schools).

Creating Teacher Accounts:

  • Teachers need to enter an authentication code and district/school email address to set up an account. Subsequent logins will require district/school email address and your selected password.
  • Authentication codes have been shared with designated district or independent school contacts. This includes lead media specialist, FSL coordinator, and persons responsible for educational and operational technology access.

District contacts: access all login codes here. This information is to be shared only with K-7 teachers through secure communication systems.

Professional Learning: Live it Earth offers webinars on current materials, and a monthly live Q/A webinar as new programs are launched. See the calendar of events here .

Educator Access: Free for use by K-7 teachers in all school districts, the Yukon Dept. of Education, and our Independent school members.

The resource has been made available to Focused ED members “avec la participation du gouvernement du Canada et du Ministère de l’Éducation et des Services à la petite enfance de la Colombie-Britannique/with the participation of the Government of Canada and the Ministry of Education and Child Care of British Columbia”.
