NRICH

A resource designed with enrichment activities to develop problem-solving skills through exploration and discussion, “NRICH” provides problems broaching a wide variety of mathematical topics that lend themselves well to collaborative problem-solving, experimentation, and manipulative use. Suitable for students in Grade K–12, the UK-based resource aligns well with BC’s Curricular Competencies. In the classroom, teachers may choose to use this resource to supplement lessons with small-group collaboration activities, offering novel problem-solving opportunities that link to various curricular content, which can then be shared with the whole class. The resources may also be suitable for remote learning situations.
