About TWIG SCIENCE/MATH
Twig Science and Math is aimed at Grade 6-9, containing 1,000+ award-winning, 3-minute videos that combine visual and adaptive learning, supported by hundreds of lesson plans, visuals, and other classroom resources.
Tig Tag Science is designed for Grade 3-5 and contains engaging videos, visual resources, lesson plans, and quizzes that allow teachers to simplify tricky scientific concepts for students.
Tigtag Junior Science is aimed at K-Grade 2 and is a complete online resource for younger children, introducing foundational science in a simple, fun, and engaging way.
K-Grade 5 teachers - sign up for Twig Science Reporter to receive a weekly newsletter, with a topical article, linked to lessons and videos in TigTag.
Teacher Access: Grades K-5 teachers in public schools may create accounts. Separate accounts are needed for Tig Tag Jr/Tig Tag and for Twig.
Creating Your Teacher Account:
- Teachers need to enter an authentication code and district/school email address to set up an account. Subsequent logins will require district/school email address and your selected password.
- Find the authentication code by signing in with your Focused ED member account.*
- This information is for K-7 teachers and not to be shared publicly.
Independent schools who have not licensed BC Digital Classroom have been provided with a unique access to these resources and to a sub-set of 4Canoes Indigenous Resources. Ask your school's lead contact for the confidential information.
Note that students do not have access to the resources. Teachers may assign videos and content from Twig to students within their class.
